Getting an HR34 tomorrow (Tuesday, 10/16) advice?

I'm replacing an HR24 with an HR34.
My current setup is with the HR24 connected via HDMI to my Yamaha AVR. I seem to be reading that there are some issues with the HR34 connected like this? Is that just with certain AVRs? Will I need to separate out the audio? My plan was to just do a simple swap and pull the HR24 and connect the HR34 the same way. Should I be rethinking that plan?

Reason I ask is that I use a URC MX-980 remote and I'd have to reprogram the activity for watching satellite if I need to change the way the inputs/outputs are configured. (Which means I'd have to boot to Windows....haven't done that in months. I hate surprises)

Also, what is the current national software version? I won't be able to get a CE until the weekend obviously.

You shouldn't have any problems connecting through your Yamaha. If so, come on back and let us know.

The latest software for the HR34 is 0x05CD.
