Ok, heres the deal...

I have a ViP222k which is a dual tuner receiver and I have 1 remote for TV1 and 1 remote for TV2, what i did was connect tv 2 onto 2 different tv's. I have completed that and now, TV1 is working , and TV2 is working on 2 different tv's and it is showing the same picture. Now my question is If i buy another remote for tv2 from ebay, can i get both remotes to work for tv 2?

thanks in advanced.

yes you can

the 2nd remote needs to be a UHF capable remote. Then set the remote address on that new remote to what TV2 shows

Also, since you will be watching TV2 from different sets in different rooms, you need to program different TV codes into each remote so that you can use the Dish remote to control each TV.

Some receivers (722 for example) output both TV1 and TV2 on the same coax. For these you might want 2 remotes each so when the usual the main TV1 is inactive you can control it separately from TV2 at the remote location.
