George Takei Warps to 'Big Bang Theory'

It was a fracking good episode.

Unfortunately that was probably the funniest quasi-line.

I enjoyed the fantasy sequence, but did not find it to be the best BBT episode in general. Just did not make me laugh nearly as much as the bombay break dancing.

I find it strange how Takei has become this strange parody of an old "flaming" gay guy. I get that he is gay; indeed, I could care less. Its just bizarre how he portrays himself.

Maybe Takei is showing his true self now that he is out of the closet. We saw him for years "acting" the part of Mr. Sulu, and now we see him as himself. Either that or he is milking the flaming queen stereotype for all the laughs and guest shots on tv shows/movies that he can get.;)

I liked the reference to Syfy... :D

I was wondering why there was activity in this thread. :)

Next week Levar Burton guest stars. I saw a tweet from Will Wheaton to him asking him if "he was evil?" LOL (Apparently not; which would be hard to do with Kunta Kinte and Geordi LaForge; he just isn't evil). :D Wheaton, on the other hand -- is perfect for the part.

The EW link speculates it would be Amy. I really hope it isn't as that would mess up the dynamics of a lot of the interactions. Sheldon needs "normal" roomates to show how weird the roomate agreement really is. Amy actually agrees with most of it. Also, Sheldon moving out would make having the gang hang around that apartment kind of unnatural. Would YOU go there just to be near Sheldon?

No, moving Amy in brings a whole new meaning to the Jump the Shark phrase "Tonight on a very special Blossum"

I really do not like the Pryia character; and wish they would move on from this. I'd think the Amy would be the most realistic room-mate choice, but not sure I am excited about the room-mate arc.

I saw a tweet from Bill Prady that there will be a LCARS screen shot in this week's episode. Should be interesting.

I agree. Further, this show tends to promote and amplify stereotypes, but Pryia does not match any of the 20-30 Indian female engineers I have worked with.
