Stored the satellite positions and renamed the C band satellites into the Gbox. How do I set the microHD to show the channels in the satellite that the Gbox , moved to?.

Thank You

Someone will respond with better clarity than I, but until then, I had trouble setting the dish mover box as you did and went to the MicroHD in settings and started saving each there. As I did, it (mover box) would blink on and off and save the number I assigned it to the mover box. It helped me to have a paper list of the satellites and the assigned number I was giving them as I went through the arc.

The Gbox moves the C band dish to the selected satellite with no problem. The thing is that I cannot get the microHD to show the channels from the selected satellite, I have to go and press the Satellite button on the microHD remote control in order to view the channels from the selected satellite.

How and what is needed to be done in the microHD setup procedure to make the Gbox and the microHD to be in sync.

Thanks again.

There may be other ways, but here is how I did it:

Started on extreme East satellite 50W and once there, reset the Gbox and put away that remote and went to MicroHD using the MicroHD remote went to menu, installation, antenna settup, motor/switch setting, left right til you find your satellite listed, (you should already have a blue signal level and green quality level if you are on the satellite); move down to save and adjust west or east for highest Q; move up and enter a motor position number (1 to ?) and change motor type to DiSEqC 1.2 and save.

Now you can go to top of that menu and select the next satellite east or west and move to bottom again start clicking remote west or east until QUALITY jumps in and repeat procedure for all the satellites.

There are other ways to accomplish this, and may be less cumbersome, but when on a channel after scanning all on a particular sat, the micro will move from sat to sat using the remote and the "OK" button.

Hope this helps.

Not quite sure if I understand your question right or not, so disregard this if I'm way out in left field here. If the Micro is making the G Box move the dish all right and all you need is the channel list, pushing the OK button should bring up the channel list for whatever sat you're on.

Sounds like the positions were onlynprobrmed in the Gbox and not saved in the receiver.

The easiest and quickest wat to correct raft is to note which DiSEqC 1.2 motor positions you used when programming the Gbox. Disconnect the coax cable between the Gbox and the receiver and assign then save the same DiSEqC 1.2 motor position in the receiver's installation menu for each satellite.

For example: if 103w is assign position 10 in your Gbox, open the Install Menu screen an assign DiSEqC 1.2 motor control the set position #10 and save. Repeat on every other programmed satellite.

Now when you select a channel or satellite from your receiver'a list, the positioner will automatically move the dish.
