During the summer, the midwest gets the three finger tuck job on gas prices.
You people are paying inflated prices for gasoline for a couple reasons. One. all of you gas comes from one place. New Orleans. And if someone in an oil installation facility so much as farts too loud, the pump price rises 20 cents within 30 minutes of the distributors catching a whiff.\
Two, the mid west is stuck with those idiotic boutique fuel blends which do next to nothing to improve the environment or reduce pollution, are nearly 'city specific'..So while demand for fuel may be normal, there is always a shortage of the specific blend of fuel for a given region.
Ahh, the Midwest. You guys get the three finger tuck job every summer. Those stupid boutique fuel blends and the fact that so few refineries make them. Then there is the lag time created by the slow as molasses trip through the pipelines to the Mid West distributors.
