When I bought my 7.5 foot mesh dish, the original Gardiner C band feedhorn was still on it. I removed it and attached a BSC-621 LNB (works great).

I put the Gardiner in storage and forgot about it until a few days ago. I took it apart to inspect the inside and to my surprise was relatively clean and free of corrosion with the exception of the servo motor. I will probably order one from KE4EST, slap it on and test for functionality. Anyone else have any experience with these recently or from long ago?

Never had any experience with the Gardiner. What will you be using to control it with? Do you have an ASC1?

I'm curious to know more about these, as well as results from your tests with it.

My 7.5' came with a Gardiner LNB attached to a fixed depth feed horn. That assembly got swapped out for a C-1 PLL LNBF. I've used the Gardiner LNB as a load for wiring tests, but haven't taken the time to try it for reception.

Here's some photos of what came with my 7.5' dish.

KE4EST, I just bought the servo motor. Initially for testing purposes I will use a manually switching 5vdc power supply, but yes I think I might need a ASC1. Can I download the user manual for that somewhere?
