There is no mystery for two or more birds in one dish, it also depending the dish size and shape, with proper line up the LNBFs, on a one metre dish can get as many as 6 satellites come in. This is what make this FTA system the fun to play.

Do you have any way/method to figure out like (assume 1 dish, 2 birds):
1) how far the 2nd LNB from the main LNB ?
2) If the main LNB point to 101, and I want the 2nd LNB pick up 95, I should place the 2nd LNB on the left of the main LNB (assume I stand in front of the dish, and look into the dish), right ?
3) It's better if the dish is oval, right ?
4) are there any rule of thumb, or formula, link these 4 factors together: size, shape, LNB2LNB distance, sat2sat degree ?

Thanks !

1. Dpenmds on what 2 satellites you want
2. yes. I have a dish at 95 and put a DBS to the left for 91
3. yes. easier to get a better quality
4. not really. As long as the TP is strong, it should be able to be picked up

Thanks iceberg ! I have some follow-up questions:

1) For #2 question, do you mean you aim the dish at 95, not (91+95)/2=93 ?

2) Does it matter if you aim at 95, then put 2nd LNB on the left of main LNB (as you did), OR aim the dish at 91, then put 2nd LNB on the right of main LNB ?

3) You say you "put a DBS to the left for 91". Did you use a metal bracket to fasten the 2nd LNB to the main LNB, OR you used some glue/tape to stick the 2 LNBs together ?

4) Did you have to do any adjustments (left/right, back/forth, up/down, rotate, ...) on the 2nd LNB to get good signal ?

5) In your dish, how far between the 2 LNBs ? Are they on the same plane ?

6) I guess a SW21 is needed as well, right ?

7) Some oval dish is taller. Other is wider. What size is your dish? And is it taller or wider ? What signal strength you get on 91 ? and 95 ?

8) If 1 LNB is V/H, and the other is circular, it should be OK, right ?

Thanks

dish is aimed at 95...dbs is on the side
2) Does it matter if you aim at 95, then put 2nd LNB on the left of main LNB (as you did), OR aim the dish at 91, then put 2nd LNB on the right of main LNB ?
not really...The KU is harder to pick up than DBS
3) You say you "put a DBS to the left for 91". Did you use a metal bracket to fasten the 2nd LNB to the main LNB, OR you used some glue/tape to stick the 2 LNBs together ?
hose clamp...99 cents at the hardware store
4) Did you have to do any adjustments (left/right, back/forth, up/down, rotate, ...) on the 2nd LNB to get good signal ?
since 91 and 95 are the same elevatin in Minneapolis, it was pretty easy
5) In your dish, how far between the 2 LNBs ? Are they on the same plane ?
they're right next to each other. no spacing in between
6) I guess a SW21 is needed as well, right ?
god no...use a Diseqc switch. I ran two lines
7) Some oval dish is taller. Other is wider. What size is your dish? And is it taller or wider ? What signal strength you get on 91 ? and 95 ?
DirecPC..39x23
95..on CCTV I get a 92
91..On Power 97 (radio)..95
8) If 1 LNB is V/H, and the other is circular, it should be OK, right ?
doesnt matter. If both are KU, then they need to be linear
