galaxy 10R question

So I heard galaxy 10R is going to be replaced with a new satellite in May. Means a new DVB-S2 format for the RTN channels. That sucks becuase I bought 2 fortec mecury II receivers about a year ago. None of the other satellites have any programming close to this one. So I wonder if some of our receivers will have a firmware update for this dvb-s2 format. If not what receivers would someone suggest me buying?

just because the new satellite is going there doesn't mean Equity will change to DVB-S2 right away. They will change but it could be a year from now for all we know

As of right now, the only receivers that do DVB-S2 are some of the HD boxes.
