The little gray kangaroo on the lower right of the screen is an indicator that a Hopper and a Joey are using the same tuner. It can be a useful warning if, for example, you are watching on the Hopper and someone else is watching the Joey while 2 tuners are being used for recordings. You would know that maybe a polite negotiation would be in order before you changed channels. At any rate it might indicate that you should check the red button tuner use before changing.
