Hello everybody,

:)Just to let everybody know, I just love (SateliiteGuys). I have started out just a week or so ago trying to install my Dish and recently purchased a new H-H Motor. With some the or more intelligent people here on this site, I was able to make the dish install and even the motor and on the arc even. I am still a newbie and learning.

QUESTION?

Right now I use a 90cm dish and and using a new SG-9120 motor that will handle up to 120cm. Just in case I want to upgrade my dish to a 120cm, would it benefit me and how? I know it's only been days, but I love this stuff and eager to learn and advance. Got to tell you this, just 30' to west of my pole I dug is an old railroad tie in the ground. Sit's 5' high and plumb. I may use this for my future dish. If I only took the time to put a level to it!

IF you go to a 1.2M, you can also get a C-band lnbf and explore the mysteries of "MiniBUD-ism" :). I have a motorized 4 footer, with a C-band lnbf and conical scalar ring, and can pick up quite a few strong and useful C-band channels . It only takes 5 minutes to go outside and swap from Ku lnbf to C-band lnbf, to switch bands , depending upon what's hot at the time.
Don't put the 1.2M on your roof , though, except as the most last resort !
:)
