would that be fun most of the time i check for the uplink report on here and then i go and check james website and see if anything comes new in on wedensday.i hope that we can get many other RSNs added to our lineup i am a huge sportsnut i hope one of these days that mavtvhd will be coming back to dish.that is one of the number of requests that dish get besides tvonehd and sprouthd, one of the channels i request to dish is Elrey network who would like to see lucha underground in hd.

I remember the Charlie Chats from 2008-2010 when Charlie was being asked every month when the RSN's would become available in full-time HD.... He'd always reply "within the next year." HA ! It "only" took 8 years, but we'll take it !

but the problem is that from 2 am until 9am all the rsn channels are off the air i wonder if dish can get this fixed so we can watch them all 24/7 and in hd

It may just be a guide data glitch that sometimes happens with newly added channels, I guess we'll see tonight. I've come across channels before that said "Off Air" in the guide but were still broadcasting programming.

What is particularly hilarious about DISH adding these 25 RSN's all at once in full-time HD, is that they include 2 RSN's which are NOT carried full-time HD by DirecTV "The Sports Leader": Fox Sports OHIO and Fox Sports Cincinnati.....

Over at DBS Talk they've been arguing for years that the only reason DirecTV did not carry these 2 RSN's in full-time HD was because they were still NOT available as such, only in Game-Only HD.... Ha ha ha..... Now here comes DISH, 8 years late to the RSN-HD game, and includes these 2 RSN's in their full-time HD line-up today.....

Someone care to deliver the wonderful news to the DBS Talk DirecTV apologists ??? Would love to hear their response.... Especially in light of DirecTV having 2 new satellites in orbit since last year, totally unused, without any new HD added from them....

I'm sure Directv doesn't give a crap about Dishes RSNs, considering dish is missing quite a few HD RSNS still.

You know what's funny has I have not been a dish sub since then. Now that RSN's are full time I should consider switching... NOT! :D Congrats on catching up to the rest of the world when it comes to HD sports.

That should be Sportsnet LA that TWC is offering for a 30% price break to get MVPD's on board for Dodgers games.
So, after dumping all that tons and tons of cash into the laps of the Dodgers, now TWC has to have a 30% off sale to the remaining MVPD's. TWC already came to agreements with a few other with NOT full price at the behest of LA mayor, but I think they did so to look good standing before the FCC and Justice Department in their attempt to get approval to acquire Charter, and Charter was the first non-TWC MVPD to get Sportsnet LA at a reduced rate as an action of "good-will" because TWC wanted to merge with them.

I am glad to see that, from what I understand of the agreement with the Dodgers, TWC still has to pay the agreed mountain of money no matter how little money TWC makes from Sportsnet LA. I really hope the resulting non-interest of EVERY other MVPD in the channel (non-coordinated BOYCOTT by the MVPD's, especially after thinking the Lakers channesl was the end of it) and its eventual placement on a few MVPD's at a reduced rate to curry favor with the FCC and now this 30% off sale sends the message that the economics just don't support a one-team / one-channel service. It is NOT good for the consumer, and now let's hope they understand that it is NOT good for those who create and own such a channel.

OK, FINALLY RSN's 24/7 HD. It always bugged me that the additional charge for the Sports Pack, while providing other sports channels and services, was more than a little diminished with SD for than a bit of the content. Glad to see all getting the full value of the cost to the subscriber.

Hmmm...so, at 3 AM on the nose, my Root Sports HD channel went off the air (412-18). It shows the following warning/error screen:

Anyone know if this was supposed to happen? Still working out the bugs, maybe? Will this be a normal thing (no HD RSNs overnight) or will the channel go 24/7 HD in the future?

i bet you guys it is probaley is due to bandwidth for the channels going offair at 2am what do you guys think?

This is a joke right?
no this is not a joke you can check your rsns by going to channel 412-00 if you have the mutlisport pack right now that channels are off air probaley due to not enough bandwidth for the channels to go 24/7 which i am going to be honest with you i rather have them go 24/7.
