Hi,

Could you recommend most popular FTA receiver in $200 range?

I want to have one can receive as many channels as possible. Also I want it have Blind Scan, also supports motor.

I already have a 37" dish.

Thanks,

how about the panstar?
it is sold for $99 and free shipping.

fortec lifetime classic and fortec lifetime ultra, which one is newer and better?

I have both and MUCH prefer the Classic NA. It is also a newer model.

I've learned that the nature of FTA knowledge is that it is nebulous, but having said that, I've read the Classic NA is replacing the Ultra. I assume that to be true.

I just ordered the NA and after reading dozens of reviews and comments I've never heard anyone say they would pick the Ultra over the NA. Heard MANY the other way though....

I like the Coolsat 4000 the best if you can find one for around $200. It has an amazingly fast blind scan and great GUI.

You can check out Sadoun's package deals on the NA. That way you would have a motor, and you would have an extra dish for ...........an extra stationary system?.....a bird bath? :)

One more dumb question. If you have a motor do you still need multiple LBNF?

Thanks,

there are no dumb questions. :)

Thanks,
not really. Some people have a DBS (DirecTV or Dish Network) LNB next to their normal LNB for the free audio on Dish 119 & ExpressVu. The Invacom quad combines 2LNB's into one :)

But to answer the question, no. I have a motor and one LNB on my motorized :)

Thanks, iceberg. what kind lnb do you have? brand, type, model etc.
