FTA Question---Im new

I am thinking about buying a fta receiver, but now im not sure.
My question is: Why do the sellers of these receivers advertise that all
dishnetwork channels are open. Acording to you, there are only a handfull of channels to receive. Has there recently been a change in their software or something?

advertisers are selling modified receivers with hacked software
(and or receivers with instructions on you installing the hacked software)

this is unethical and illegal.
buy a subscrption like they demand

Those are hackers, and do not buy from them, WE DO NOT TALK ABOUT HACKING HERE!!! if you want dish network you must pay for your channels, we talk about the legal fta units here, if you get one then we can help you with your questions. There are many places that sell them.
