I'm keeping an eye out for a receiver that not only tunes FTA, but tunes OTA HD. I don't know if something like that has come out yet or not, but I'll keep my eyes open. That would be a great all-in-one unit. My locals and FTA's on the same receiver. Any ideas? Or known STBs? I personally haven't seen one yet. Hope to one day.

That would be great. At the moment I am using a HTPC with a DVB-S card and a OTA card (so I get both in the same box). Its a bit bulky though (but it works great).

dreambox has a unit it's the 7025. You can get fta (I don't think it has a blind search) ota (but it's not HD and there's a difference between Europes ota and US ota)
and it has a pvr built in. From what I understand it works great in Europe but not over here.
I'm checking into changing the tuner (its plug and play) with a tuner for the US market. Phillips makes the tuner.
Then theres the price. Don't ask:eek:

It also has two scart outputs but you can get adaptors to change those into composite.

I think Iceberg has a dreambox, you may want to ask him. He may have more info on the dreambox units.

Question for anyone with HDTV
If I can get the tuner that works in the US market and the unit is not HD, will it still get the ota show in sdtv and show it in standard?
