Does anyone know of some FTA stations that I can get with a 90cm dish that broadcast motorsports(in any language)? They probably wouldn't be showing any races this time of the year, but maybe during the summer?

Like a car racing channel ? There is one supposed to be coming to that new network.

Well, just any channel that might show some races not just a car race channel. Like for example, i used to live in an area with an America One affiliate and occasionally they would show some races. Not sure if there is anything like that with FTA right now.

Various league on/off road racing is often available on the international channels @97W. Baja and some short track on SatMex channels.

Last year they split the programing during the season from speed, I think Fox and something else, NBC?.
The new season is coming up soon. Indy, Nascar, F1.
You can be sure I will be doing research.

Yeah, they split all the races for this year. The first half of the year is on FOX, there are 6 races on TNT, 3 on ABC, and then the rest are on ESPN. I don't have a subscription anymore so there wont be much to watch later in the year when they are all on ESPN. Hoping to find any races to watch when I cant watch NASCAR on OTA.

You can sometimes catch the camel races on some of the foreign channels on 97W.

Al Kass on 97W (from Qatar) has a wide variety of sports and racing, including motor sports and is sometimes in English. You should be able to pick them up fine on a 90cm dish (12084 V 22000). A schedule is on their website (www.alkass.net) but is mostly in Arabic. Your best bet is to channel surf to their station regularly.

So far the only thing I know of that is showing now is the documentary show Madhouse on History channel which you can get on 101w. Does anyone know if Setanta sports still shows any races? I know a couple of years ago they showed the A1GP races.

I wish I could have a C Band dish so i could try to find some of the wildfeeds, that would be great. But, a regular channel would work better for me anyway so i can DVR it. I wouldn't be able to search for wild feeds too often, i'm always at a race on the weekends! Heading out to Irwindale, CA this weekend for the big race!

Thanks for the tip! I went on their website and noticed they are even showing racing tonight starting at 3am. It's drag racing, so it's not my thing(i like ovals and road course), but still very cool!

The race year is starting this weekend with the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Toyota Allstar Showdown at Irwindale. Don't know about anything on FTA though. The first hour of the Rolex is probably on FOit has been for the past 2 years anyway) with the rest on SPEED and the Irwindale race is also on Speed channel.
