FTA/DVB PC Cards

I have a question posed to me by my buddy. How can you tell if your FTA/DVB PC card will do 4:2:2 and HD; and is there any special or recommended LNB or software needed to get it? I know he is getting a TwinhanDTV PCI card; I think he said it was called the Sat-Pro.

software does all the decoding so as long as youve got a computer fast enough, it can be done

we know it can be done and the PC is no issue, so OK, what software? The one that will come with his card? or specific name?

The user Techno, in this thread, seems to have gotten it going.

I wish people would put 4:2:2 in the topic when they post, if that's their problem
Would make it easier to locate threads on that very important subject.
