I Live in London ONtario Canada. I'm looking to get an FTA system to catch the portuguese channel "RTP international" (if anyone is familiar with this channel).

I have not bought my receiver and dish yet because i need to know how to point it before i buy it and then I cannot do it.

Can anyone help me with this?

Satellite Finder is (c) Copyright 2004, P. Lutus

G-12 listed at 125w now on Lyngsat, time Satfinder did an update...... Works for 99% of KU band satellites so I am happy enough with it for now (FREE)

AMC-9 is at 83w

I think I may work on updating it.....

C:WINDOWS/.SatFinder/satlist.txt.

If we could get someone to stay on top of this list that would work....... I vote Cascade!

Just FYI if you want; here is the edited SatFinder file I use. I edited the new satellite names and locations where needed and I did remove the DBS and non-US spot beam stuff for my needs, but you can put it back if you need to. There is also some added text in mine that you can remove as well, such as target goals vs needs.

Close SatFinder, and change your current file extention FROM satlist.TXT TO satlist.OLD and then put this one into the same location.

Such as:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\.SatFinder (or where ever you loaded it) this is the source's target location, not the program file's target location. If you don;t know where to look just search for 'satlist.txt' on your main HDD.

It's cool you can edit that file - I did like you just posted Cascade, only I went all the way to 1W which is likely furter East than even the Floridians are seeing.

You should add IA-8 at 89w ;)
