Can the Joey remote work through walls/floors like the current TV2 UHF based remote can?

Yes, the Hopper and Joey use the same remote (no more TV1/TV2 identifiers). It's the same design as the 922's, links the same way, but has greater range (don't know how much) and different color buttons.
