While I was in the attic looking for some holiday decorations, I ran across this old ad from 1988. That receiver price is about what 922s sell for today. G1-12 is still active analog today. I forget what it was back then.

Yea my first was ChannelMaster manual tune with an LNA.
My neighbor came over when I had some problems with reception
(he then told me he sold and setup systems in the midwest) and he
introduced me to a new thing called a Low Noise Block.Boy, like all
other technological boons things have changed...
I still have the ChannelMaster dish but retired it a month ago due to the 1"
diameter pivot pin rusting in half.
 
HTS was Home Team Sports-the channel you cheer for! Found one of their old jingles on
a videotape the other day, from about that same time period.
