I left the 811 unplugged for about an hour. Well, I thought I would give it another try. The unit booted up and is working normal. I am staying off of WTTW for the time being. If the reciever works OK I am going to cancel the service call.
After a day of having my 811 unplugged my 811 was able to boot up. I just talked to a tech at Dish and he said the acquiring signal problem of only going up to 3 of 5 was a known issue for all 811 receivers last night. I let him know what was happening to Fox in Cleveland and the best he could offer was talk to some of the other techs about it.
