Friday FTA Fun Poll...special New Years Eve edition

2008 was the year I got into FTA. Being a radio and TV DXer years ago, I was always interested in eventually doing FTA. When I cancelled my Bell ExpressVu subscription a few months ago, I jumped into FTA feet first since I could use the 30" dish I was using for that. I bought a used Traxis 3500 here on Satguys. Since I quickly found that the 30" had a few signal problems because of the 2 degree satellite spacing, I got a Geosat Pro 36" from Satellite AV.

Thanks to all of the great posts and posters here, I was able to get a KU system setup quickly and easily. I'm hoping to get an HD FTA receiver in 2009. Happy New Year to everyone here!

After checking it out for about a year I finally jumped into the FTA pool. Lots of great stuff up there but I especially like the sports. I piggy-backed the FTA onto my 4DTV. In late Fall I installed a second c-band pole and conduit system and will be adding another dish come spring.
