I've got a surplus of of hot peppers and tomatoes this year...

I was thinking of making my favorite marinades, etc...and freezing them so I could enjoy them all year round...

Now I've not done this before, so I'm just wondering of this falls under the category of "good idea" or "don't even..."...

Anyway, advice or tips would help right now as I ponder this.

Thanks!

I've been thinking about doing this too. HiFi loves chips and salsa, so I thought I would just make a whole bunch of salsa at one time and can it, that way I can use fresh tomatoes. But I haven't been brave enough to do it yet.

Canned salsa, tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, etc. are great ways to preserve garden produce. Extremely long shelf life and quality.
