Hey there used to be a service at 101 Degrees on AMC 4 called Free X Tv.

Basically it was a deal where you paid $200 for the receiver and you got an access card allowing you to get a FREE Porn channel for like 2 years.

Anyways they shut the service down several months ago, but I noticed the channel is now on Telestar 5.

Is this the same channel, do all I got to do is repoint my Dish to pick it up since my access card is already authorized?

I don't know if the card will work they are running Irdeto2, conax, and Xcrypt for encryptions, so if your card is one of those, then there is a good chance that your card will work, The cards were on sale on ebay for a little while, when it first launched on T5, I picked up my Xcrypt card for $50 and it is suppoesed to be good for 14 months.

I don't think that was a hack question.... to get free X TV legitimately, you have to buy a CAM. Free X TV is the name of the station... he merely asked where to buy the access card. At least that's how it appears to me...

Yep you are right there PSB jumped the gun. There was nothing talking about HACKING.

Maybe PSB owes someone an apology.

I think Pete saw the word FREE then saw the word cam and thought it was a hack post, this one was not.

To give PSB some credit, you should understand that with the volume of messages posted here, the staff can not read every post, many times we just quickly glance at a thread, sometimes we dont read it at all, which may be the case here.

PSB does a good job.

Scott is right....you cant imagine how many posts ARE hack posts that get nuked right away, so most people never see them.

But when someone asks a hack question (as the person did before), we take extreme caution....

I suppose one could ask the same of D* or E* for some of there FREE Promotions. Personally, if you wind up paying some type of rent or fee for several months, well I don't see that as being free....

I think that's the channel that's being bundled with the purchase of the new Coolsat's with card readers. I think they're offering a 14 or 15 month subscription. I don't know if the old cards would be compatible, but you could probably check with one of the site's sponsors that sell Coolsats.
