My Favoirte Channel is that fox64 channel on amc-1 at 101' w.
My tv antenna goes out duirng a rainstorm, so I can now watch homer simpson being a smart ass to apu at the quick-e-mart, during a downpour.
I dont have fta up an running right know. I got burnt out watching chinese and russian channels and my setup wasnt motorized, so Wild-Feeds were out of the question right now i am working on adding ku linear and circular to my c-band dish, so I will be able to get c band fta and ku fta all from one dish. Im hinting it would be nice to have an hd fta so I can watch hd on my set for once.

See post #1 for the rules.......

This week's multi-part question: How many dishes do you own? How many dishes are installed? Fixed or motorized? If fixed, what satellite is each aimed at?

Let the 2nd round begin with the next post!

Hmmmm, let me i have had as many as 26 pizza dishes before, (from trash days)
I have recently aquired a 10 foot wingard that im gonna setup so i can get fta circular, linear and c band. It is motorized.

I have 6 dishes.
4 Ku band (2 Fortec 90cm)-(2 Azure Shine/ 3ABN 90cm)
2 C-band dishes (1 10ft Paraclipse)-(1 8.5ft Solid Birdview Project dish)

Of those 6, 2 Fortec Ku dishes are installed
1 is motorized Stab H100 w/'LOS 30w-129w
1 is fixed on Hispasat @ 30.0 west

let see 3 c-band dishes only one working ( on motor full arc 50-137)
6 ku dishes only one working & on motor
project to get one other c-band dish with motor doing the arc
and one other ku doing the arc on motor
the others will be fixed dishes. no satellites picked out yet.

I have an installed Dish 1000.2 and an uninstalled dish-500. The 1000.2 points at 110, 119, 129. If I win an FTA receiver I would be obtaining a compatible dish and pointing it at different FTA satellites to see what I'm currently missing. I would likely stick with AMC 3 for PBS kids Sprout, which appears to be digital/clear on KU band and isn't on E* yet.

3 dishes, 3 installed. One 80cm, motorized. I also have a T-90 with LNBs at the 83, 85, 89, 91, 97, 103, 105, 113, and 123 slots. Last, a 1.2m Andrews, usually pointing at 72 or 79, which I move frequently by hand.

Now that we have the popcornN'more out (and Congratulations!), let's sit back and decide which dish to watch now:
Torodial (T90) pointed @ 72/74/79/87/89/93/97/101/103/113
Primestar (1m) pointed @ 116.8/123/129
Fortec (1.2m) on H-H120 Stab with QPH031 getting ARC @ 30.0w-129.0w
GeosatPro (1.2m) on GS120 with CK1 getting ARC @ 30.0w-137.0w (use mostly with ku, have to re-adjust lnbf for C, and not much there)
10' mesh BUD driven by 4dtv (922) with Corotor2 getting ARC @ 72.0w-139.0w (use primarily for C with 4dtv subscription, secondarily for C DVB reception, occasionally for ku DVB reception)
10' fiberglass BUD driven by 4dtv (920) with Corotor2 getting ARC @ 83.0w-139.0w (use primarily for C DVB reception, ocasionally for ku DVB reception)
5' solid aluminum BUD on AJAX H-H motor with Chaparral Dual C-Band Feedhorn and 2 @ CalAmp Slimline2 lnb's (one 25k, one 30k), this is a project piece, formally driven by my 4dtv (920), now using my Coolsat 5000 with a V-Box2 (still in the box, unfortunately), need to get back to this project soon
90cm Fortec on temporary pole/bucket with lnbf @ 123.0w and lnbf @ 129.0w (play project)
Also have an 80cm Fortec with H-H90 Stab and QPH031, not in use
10' mesh in Garage
10' fiberglass in garage
12' fiberglass in garage
1 Torodial T90 in garage
1 GS120 motor in garage
Boxes of other parts in garage, including lnb's,lnbf's, feedhorns, brackets, cable, etc.....
2 @ 90cm Fortec in garage

My current set up is: A 10.5 ' Cosmos mesh on a dsr920, covers 79w -135w, a 76 cm Winegard on a motor, arc is from 30w-129w,and a GeosatPro 90cm sitting on it's mount waiting for a new receiver. Almost forgot, Dish 500 aimed at 110/119 and dish 300 aimed at 61.5 awaiting new vip211 by the end of the week.

I've got four dishes. Two installed.

T90 at 74, 79, 82, 87, 91, 101, 105, and 119W
A StarChoice 75E aimed at 123 and 127W

Got two 18" dishes in the basement in a corner behind the furnace.

Three motorized dishes installed, Two 1m Primestars and a 7.5 foot perfect 10 c-band dish. I also have three 84e Primestar dishes in storage, as well as another 1m Primestar and a couple phase 3 D* dishes, for parts mostly.

I also have a Glorystar system that I don't use with a 90 cm dish, but hopefully that will be gone soon.

I have more than a dozen dishes in all, but at the moment only two are in use. I have a 1 meter Channel Master aimed at G-10R (OOPS! I mean G-17), and the other dish is an Azure Shine 36" on an SG-2100 H-H motor :)

I got 5 so far..1-8' c band motorized, 1-39" KU Fortec motorized, 1-Dish 1000 pointed at 110, 119, & 129W, 1-Globecast elliptical pointed at 123W with a second lnb pointed at G27 for WSTV, and 1-pizza pan pointed at 129W for Echostar 5.

I have 5 dishes, all fixed
1. Primestar for G10r
2. 6 ft mesh dish. AMC3 for the PBS channels. Still can't get a great signal quality.
3. A 36 inch 3ABN dish with 2 LNBs pointed at AMC4 and IA5
4 A Dish 300 that was being used for Sky angel. I think I am going to dig the pole out of the ground.
5. A dish 500 in the storage shed.

I would like to find another Primestar dish to replace the 6 foot wire mesh dish.

I got a nice dish to go with that

I got a nice muzik dish to go with that receiver and yes size matters. :)

laters,

Josh

I have 3 dishes. Two are installed and they are both fixed. The first one is for Directv and the other is for Dish network. I need to get a FTA dish and receiver.
