Well, now I can't complain about still seeing SiriusXM Velvet in red in my guide. Dish added the "hidden" flag, so it has now been removed completely!In (related?) SiriusXM news...
What the heck is Dish doing now??? Not only are they not (yet?) doing free previews of all of the channels that are playing holiday music, they have now removed one of the SiriusXM channels from the Latino Bonus Pack that I am actually paying for!!!

(Sometimes I think that Dish makes these changes just to see if I am paying attention.)
Now, channel 6013 is red in the guide, and when I try to select channel 6013 from the guide I get a Programming Not Authorized 013 message. This is the only SiriusXM channel that is missing (so far). Is there now going to be more than one tier of SiriusXM music channels on Dish? Is Dish now reserving certain channels exclusively for AT250, like they do with the AUD music channels?

So, now I get all of the SiriusXM channels that are still shown in the guide, but this still means one lost channel. I guess Dish was getting tired of getting complaints from SiriusXM subscribers, seeing that red channel in the guide and asking why it was removed and how to get it back.
I have no issue spending a few bucks just to be rid of endless commercials. Not everyone feels the same way and that’s OK.

It is no different than having two threads for the 4K events. Furthermore, both of those threads are always sticky. So, perhaps if the Free Previews Discussion threads were also made sticky (subtle hint!!!) then fewer people would make the mistake of posting in the No Discussion thread.

Why don't you have a conversation with Scott to see if he will set that up instead of constantly throwing out hints. That how I got it done. Somebody asked why we didn't have such a thread and I volunteered to do it. I set up the two threads and it got done.
I have finally gotten it to the point where someone seems to be checking each month to make the new No Discussion thread sticky without me having to ask to have it done. So, I am satisfied with that. I keep finding any excuse to revive the accompanying Discussion thread, which usually keeps it somewhere near the top of the regular thread list. Usually, there is not a problem with anyone posting in the No Discussion thread by mistake. However, this month, for some reason...
I had the same issue in the 4K no discussion thread. I answered the question there, let it alone for a while, and then 'reported' the last post and asked for the improper posts to be deleted. They were then gone.
I reported the improper posts in my No Discussion thread, too. Specifically, I reported posts number 6 and 10 in this month's thread. Post number 6 got a reply from KE4EST in post number 7. (Thank you!) However, none of those posts have been deleted yet, even after DJ Lon specifically asked for his posts to be deleted, in post number 8.
I am very specific about "delete post numbers x, y, and z. They almost almost immediately go away. Of course my 4K threads are supported by the website and were established by a request from them to have a volunteer who would keep them going. I did that and it seems to work well.
The reason we need a no-discussion thread is the last few posts in this one. Not a single one told me a damn thing about free previews, which one might reasonably expect from a thread about free previews. As has been said now several times, the last topic for this was so littered it became completely useless. For ANY purpose, not just the stated one.
I have started a conversation with KE4EST about whether I am going to have the support of the website going forward. If I do not get an answer, or if I get a negative answer, then I will stop posting these Free Previews threads. My new tagline will be "Your Happy Guru."
The official reply is against having two threads. So, if anyone else wants to take a crack at starting the January thread, be my guest. I quit.

I said I wouldn't start the January thread. I never said anything about not posting in it. Also, the reply I got did not say anything about not starting two threads again in February. So, I may be back. I am simply trying to comply with a request from a moderator.Well if you see something interesting post it I'll read it.
Actually, I just found out that I have jury duty in January. So, I may not have as much free time to post here then anyway.
Good question. Right now, due to the public health crisis in Richland County, all jury trials are suspended until after Dec. 28, 2020 by a court order. All jurors summoned to appear between Dec. 7 and Dec. 28 were released from jury duty. However, my jury duty isn't scheduled to start until Jan. 4, 2021. So, we'll have to wait and see how they handle it, or if there will be another similar court order at that time.
I “had” jury duty in July. Similar case: they dismissed me from serving due to COVID cases. The one bright spot during the pandemic.
