Free ppv movie

Better hurry for the first two, they expire very soon.

Right you are! Is there any way I can give them away? I've gotten 10 or more of these darn things in the past, and never used one. I'm not tellin' what I do instead, but suffice it to say that it involves DVDs by mail, and I can watch it when and where I want.

I got mine last night despite Windows Live mail putting it in the junk mail folder. Looked at my online account and it was listed there too.

Today 12/7 is the first time I saw this thread. I went to the website the OP mentioned but I did not see anywhere to sign up for this contest. Wonder if the entry period has expired?

I don't know if there's a way to do that, as they are attached to your account. You could ask a DIRT tech and see if there is a way. Otherwise, you "paid" for them with your old account, so why not use them?

Another excellent question. For one thing, when the damnable channel 1 PPV arrived, I was suddenly charged for porn which nobody in my household wanted or ever agreed to buy. In many years with Dish, I never once had that happen. I was also charged multiple times for a kid's program I only ordered ONCE. I regard these events as obvious glaring bugs in the software.

Since I barely succeeded in getting ONE charge (the porn program) reversed, I decided to have the PPV limit on my account zeroed out. Never had this issue again. ;) And of course I can't buy a PPV program at all, now. So, if I were to somehow enter in my free PPV codes, would they still work on my account? Would it buy me HD programs? Is it worth the trouble given my comment above?

I'd gladly donate my 6 codes to a worthy cause.

No, they are assigned to your account. A friend tried to give me one of his once. Would not accept.

My PPV credit is also set to zero, and my certificates work just fine. SD, HD, Movies, or instant ON Demand. I sure as *ell am NOT ever going to pay $5.99 or higher for a PPV movie. That's just insane pricing. But, I have no qualms in watching a FREE one that they throw at me.

Look at it this way: It's probably the ONLY time Dish is going to give you something for FREE, with nothing attached to it.

Think of using them as "sticking it to the MAN" to get a little even with them.

I got 3 single ones: on -- for
9/21/13 -- 2013-12-20
10/22/13 -- 2014-01-20
11/27/13 -- 2014-02-25
Now to find some worth watching and the time to do them.
-Ken
P.S. How did some get double certificates? -K
