Free HBO???

Just got my april newsletter and it said that HBO will be free on April 6-11, does anybody know if HBO HD will be included?

My guess would be no HBO HD included, I think the newsletter said channels 284 to 290 (or something to that effect), believe those would all be the sd preview channels.

There has generally been one HD free preview channel in there. I don't know that HBO HD will be part of the free preview but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the idea because of the channel assignments.

I do remember 1 free preview a couple years ago when we got HBO-HD free for a few days. I don't know if this is normal, but it happened at least once.

Yeah, I remember at least 1 time in the past year and a half or so that HBO HD was included in the free preview.

Based on the uplink report it looks like HBO channels that will be available during the free preview will all be SD.........no HD

Sorry for the double post... but I just used the E* online chat and the CSR informed me that HBO HD will be included... obviously the first thought is that maybe this person has no idea what they are talking about! Here's hoping!

Rob: I saw that this weekend is a free preview weekend for HBO... Does that include HBO HD and what channel is it on?
CSR: One moment please.
CSR: yes. Hd will be included with this.
Rob: Do you know what channel I can see the free preview of HBO HD?
CSR: Please give me one moment while I look that information up for you.
CSR: Channels 9440 and 9456.

Time to clear off some room and fire up the 622...
