From www.videoeta.com A brief overview of an article I read a little while ago:New Line Cinema is reportedly working on a prequel of Wes Craven's A Nightmare On Elm Street franchise. The film would show the back-story of everyone's favorite killer Freddy Krueger. The news comes from 2 different websites, www.pitofhorror.com via www.bloody-disgusting.com (great names, aren't they?) and the man behind the claws,Robert Englund. In an interview with the Pit,the actor said,"I think it should go the 'CSI' route and be sort of like a docudrama that shows his crimes against the children. Then you cast two of the greatest character actors you can find to play the lawyers that get him off. Then of course,it leads up to Freddy being burned alive." Englund added that John McNaughton of Wild Things fame is in talks to direct. No word on a start date, let alone a release date.I thought if there are any fans of the horror movie genre on here, this would be an interesting read.
