Fox Sports 1 update: DirecTV, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks are likely to carry Fox Sports 1 at its launch on Saturday, according to sources with direct knowledge of the deals. The three distributors still have not signed deals to carry the channel, but the sources expect all three providers to have it available on Saturday. Dish Network did not respond to email requests for comment. But sources said they expected Dish to carry the channel, as well. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Dish Network has agreed to carry FS1 at launch. Fox Sports executives have said that they expect FS1 to launch in 90 million homes. These deals are certain to get the channel to that number.(Sports Business Daily)(8-15-2013)
u will have to wait the 2 daysStill hearing good things but I want actual proof now...2 days left
Hopefully their blackout agreement isn't as draconian as the broadcast Fox network, which basically states that since we are airing a MLB game, all other MLB games that air during that time must be blacked out for everyone.it will begin airing regular season and playoff MLB games in 2014.

So the deals haven't been made yet then.Fox Sports 1 has signed carriage agreements with DIRECTV, Dish and Time Warner Cable, reports The Los Angeles Times. The three major pay TV providers will carry the channel when it launches on Saturday, August 17.
*snip*
The newspaper adds that the agreements with DIRECTV, Dish and Time Warner Cable are good as done but final details still need to be worked out. Sports Business Journal is also reporting that Bright House Networks will carry the channel as well.
Still, my point is, if they are airing 3 games nationally on the 3 channels, they better not block out all the other games they/re not airing like Fox does now.My hope is that this means that they will stop a doing regional game of the week. It would be nice if they would just put one game on Fox, one on FS1, and one on FS2 and let us pick which one to watch. If they want to lock up the exclusive rights to 3 or more games every Saturday by keeping them off EI and MLB.tv they should at least give us a way to watch all of them. Of course, this probably won't happen but I can dream.

According to the Fox Sports 1 website it will air on channel 150 starting Saturday. Bye bye Speed.
