The D* guide listing for the FNC on 360 which added FNCHD 360-1 to its listing earlier today, has now been removed. Must have been an error? What a shame, it was fun too anticipate FOX News HD while it lasted!

I think youre right. CHLL is 257 not 275. FNC is 360 which corresponds to the HD assignment.

Looks like the conclusion is that its a new A&E crime channel.

Little irritated that CIHD comes before Travel and ESPNU. No biggie, but when/if its added people on the sites will be mad as hell.

It is an A&E channel. Someone from DBSTalk showed a link from Directs site that shows future programming for this channels labeled as ch. 275

P Smiths latest data shows that PPVHD 149 replaced by 275 CIHD (Crime & Investigation HD) and PPVHD 39 replaced by 360 FNCHD (Fox News Channel HD). Perhaps two new stations tomorrow or next week, one being FNC HD.

ETA: It looks like the Crime and Investigation channel in the US is an HD only station. The UK channel is in SD. This probably means that the Crime and Investigation channel will be added to the $5 HD extra package???

Just one minor nit. I was channel 139 that went away, not 39. I am glad to see that finally some of the so called temporary HD PPVs are actually being replaced with real channels.
