Is anyone else experiencing signal problems with FOX and NBC HD feeds in the St. Louis area? I had the service installed in July and at that time the installer said Dish was having problems with the FOX and NBC HD feeds. However, I had absolutely no issues for the first couple of months. Lately, I haven't been able to get either channel to tune in at all. All of my other HD channels work flawlessly, so I'm guessing it's a satellite feed issue and not an equipment issue.

I'm in Saint Peters Missouri and i don't have any problems tuning to the KSDK or Fox2. There are times when there is some slight pixelation but it doesn't happen much.

OK. I'm in the metro east, so I assume we'd be getting the same feed. When I tune to either channel, I get the error 002 like it can't even find the satellite.

Thanks for your reply.

Did you check your signal reception from the setup menu? Maybe you aren't getting a good signal from whichever sat is delivering the locals.

I'll check that when I get home from work. I'm going to try a suggestion from another thread. Basically, unplug the receiver, disconnect the line in, run a check switch test to clear the matrix. Then, unplug the receiver, connect the line in, then run another switch test.

Hoping that will help.

OK. I tried the check switch test and it didn't make a difference. So, I tried messing with the signal strength options on the "point dish" screen. I put in my zip code and selected satellite 118 (which is what my locals come in on) and I get anywhere from 45-70 signal strength depending on what transponder I select. Some transponders don't get any signal. On satellites 110 and 129 I get between 95-98 for signal strength.

What's strange is my other local HD channels come in just fine, just not NBC and FOX.
