FOX Business Network to Air on XM Satellite Radio

NEW YORK and WASHINGTON, June 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- FOX Business
Network (FBN) and XM Satellite Radio today announced that FBN will begin
airing nationwide on XM on July 14. XM, the nation's leading satellite radio
company with more than 9.3 million subscribers, will air FBN across the U.S.
on XM channel 128.

In making the joint announcement, XM executive vice president of programming
Eric Logan said, "FOX Business brings a great line-up of business news and
analysis for XM listeners nationwide. This is the latest milestone in a long
and productive partnership between FOX News and XM."

Kevin Magee, executive vice president, FOX News, added, "FOX News and FOX
News Talk are two popular XM radio channels and we are pleased to offer this
additional service for listeners. With XM radio, people can access FOX
Business and track their investments, wherever they are."

Launched in October 2007, FBN is a financial news channel delivering
real-time business news across all platforms that impact both Main Street and
Wall Street. Home to leading financial journalists such as Neil Cavuto, Alexis
Glick, David Asman and Liz Claman, FBN is the latest addition to XM's 170-plus
radio channels, which include FOX News (XM 121) and FOX News Talk (XM 168).

if you want call that a development just more useless IMHO junk

More wasted bandwidth. They have dropped some niche music stations and the SQ on XM has gotten worse over the years. I used to have 3 subs with XM and have dropped 2 mainly because of the lousy SQ. Quit adding garbage and improve the sound.

This will be nice since I have wanted the channel but Dish Net hasn't picked it up yet. I happen to have XM so I will be able to catch some of this channel (even if I would have liked another music channel instead)

No joke.. music I can buy and listen to on a MP3 player anytime. I like talk and sports, one of the reasons I have XM.

XM for Air America. What a joke. You can hear it for free on the AM Dial of your radio. Who gets it for talk and commercials. I got it for commercial free music only.

Yep, YOU can hear it over the air on your AM dial, right there in NYC. Not everyone in the entire country can do that. What if you're a trucker on nationwide long haul?

To set it straight here, I listen to nothing but music myself.
