Just wanna share to all, setup my new system today and Found IA 5/KU Level is 85% & Quality is 60% with 40+ channels(mostly arabic channels) and some radio stations.
Here's the settings on the Antenna setup for IA 5/KU
LNB type: Universal 2
LNB freq: 9750/10750]
22khz: --
DiSEqC: OFF
LNB Power: ON
TP: 11749 v 7.232
Positioner Setting: 1.2
Satellite Scan FTA

Also found Echostar 7 Level is 89% & Quality 74% with 2 channels only, one of the channel (TV900)says "Congratulations!, You have a SuperDISH system pointed @ 121 W.L.
I thought Echo 7 is @ 119 W??? I was trying to use this satellite as my True South, can someone lighten me up a bit.

notes: Motor Elevation is set @ 34 & Dish Elevation is @ 40.

Thanks guys,

Well done!
I think the LNBF should be set to Universal 1
L.O. 9750-10600

If you want to use E 7 at 119w to set up your dish/motor to point true south you will have to switch to a DBS LNBF and change the L.O. setting to.....

L.O. = 11250

E 9 is at 121w so you are not far away!

I will change it to Universal 1, is there any other satellite I can use as True South besides E 7? I don't have DBS LNBF yet, Thanks PSB.

If you have found 121w at your "0" zero position you are only 2 degrees away... from behind the dish I would loosen the motor bolts slightly and move everything about 1/4" to the left/east then USALS over to Satmex 5 and peak your signal.

If you are only getting around 40 channels on IA-5 there is something wrong. Currently I receive 97 video and about 50 audio channels FTA.

Much more than arabic language on the sat. Sometimes I'll watch Fashion TV, catch a movie that is in English with foreign subtitles, or watch some of the English programs on IRIB (it has separate audio for English), but I mostly listen to WRN and Radio Netherlands which both have 24/7 English feeds.
