Hello all, I am just a newbie here, so please bear with me. Will this unit (Fortec Passion) work with a 4DTV receiver? Just wondering, thats all. Sure looks better than the HDD200.

First, I converted Euros to US dollars, and just about strained myself, reaching for my credit card ($265 USD)

Then when I couldn't believe that price, I decided to double check on another conversion site.
That's when I realized I hadn't converted from UK Pounds... (more like $390 USD)

Real question is availability.

Will this unit (Fortec Passion) work with a 4DTV receiver?
Sure looks better than the HDD200.

It will not work in place of a 4DTV receiver.
It cannot be subscribed.

Like many others here I have been holding out for the Passion HD mainly for the 4:2:2 and blindscan features. My bubble has just burst. First releases of the unit in the UK 3 weeks ago have no blindscan or 4:2:2. I Talk is a firmware upgrade may come out to correct this. More info here.
