On November 4, 2008, 9PM, the following screen was displayed:

If you wish to eliminate the per month additional outlet programming access fee, this receiver must be continuously connected to your land-based phone line."
DISH personnel have only told me that the phone connection is necessary for pay-per-views, and for changing subscription options. I have no idea where they ever told me in my contract that I might have the "additional outlet programming access fee ". What rights do I have? Isn't this a contract violation?
