Flashing DRD435RH

Hello,

I have a RCA DRD435RH and whenever I power off, the power light flashes on and off, however no video is displayed.. so I don't think the unit is actually turning on and off. Anyone know why this is happening?

is it taking a software update?

have you checked to see if that is how it tells you you have mail from D* ?
