Anyone successfully using Cooliris with 3.5? I get a memory error message.
It is much faster. Some website, like the Dodgers site, used to load each item separately and it took a few seconds for everything to pop up. Now every opens up pretty much instantaneously.I have to say, that tweak really seems to work; maybe its in my head, but everything just seems zippy.

maybe a little of both
I've been running FF 3.5 on my Mac Pro for a week now and I'd say it's as stable as any previous version. Pages do seem to "pop" up faster, but I'm going to try Watusi's speed-up suggestion to see if it makes a difference on Engadget (always seems slower than this site by a mile.)Yeah, probably.
My friend just tried it on his mac, and he said it had similar "zippy" results; although he has also complained that 3.5 on the mac has been pretty unstable for him.
Guys never mind 3.5 for the time being , 3.0 can be sped up by doing this guarantee to work.
Speed Up FireFox
This is an article on How to Tweak Firefox for Faster Browsing. Your browser might be set for Dial-Up and you don't even know it.
1. Open your Firefox browser.
2. Type "about:config" into the address bar and press enter.
3. The page it takes you to should look similar to this picture and now you should type "network" into the Filter input box. No need to press enter it will automatically update and then you need to scroll down until you see "network.http.pipelining". Note that it is alphabetical order.
4. If the value for "network.http.pipelining" is set to false double click and it will change to true. If it is already set to true please move on to the next step.
5. Now double click "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and you should have an input box pull up. You are going to want to change the value to "10" and then click "Ok"
6. Now you are done. Type whatever URL you want into the address bar and watch Firefox load faster. Enjoy!
I thought they just fix the fix.Anyone want to bet how long it will take them to fix it? Say, a hundred times faster than MS fixes their problems?
It's ready now. FF 3.5 users should check for updates (mine checked automatically) and the new version doesn't have the Java Font vulnerability.Anyone want to bet how long it will take them to fix it? Say, a hundred times faster than MS fixes their problems?
