DirecTV doen't sell in canada therefore they don't support six digit zip codes. I will be traveling from Great falls to Fairbanks via motorhome and I have a Winegard traveler K3003 antenna on board. The best assistance Direct could give me was "take the last long and lat that worked and aim a little lower". Not a real accurate way of getting my antenna aligned.
Does anyone have a long and lat chart with corresponding degrees of angle calculations?

The rule is take the zip code for a city directly south of you and for every 100 miles north you are subtract 1 degree of elevation from the look angles when trying to set your satellite system.

However, the TRAV'LER SK-3003 is fully automatic and will compensate for this on its own. The TRAV'LER will find the DIRECTV satellites anywhere that they can be seen.

Please note that you may want to look into the legality of connecting to DIRECTV from Canada.

It is perfectly legal for American RVers to watch Directv in Canada. However, don't let any Canadians into your RV and watch or the RCMP will come and arrest them and haul them off to jail. ;)

That's only if you're watching something lame. ;)

It looks like your dish elevation from the horizon is only 5 degrees and the magnetic azmiith is about 105 degrees.

Actually it isn't. Once you cross the border you are subject to Canadian law and receiving DirecTV in Canada is illegal, for anyone not just Canadian citizens. But it's very unlikely the RCMP will come after you for using your DirecTV system.

As long as the dish is connected to a US registered vehicle you should be okay. :)
I agree. I was just making the point that strictly speaking you are breaking the law even if you are in a US-registered vehicle. I very much doubt that the Canadian authorities would go after you though. It's not worth it to them to do so. People in US-registered RVs use DirecTV in Canada all the time and I have yet to hear of anyone having a problem.
