I have been trying to record movies on Filmfest for the past 5 days. Every movie that I have recorded has 'Zero' hours as duration of the film. Therefore, there is no recording. Anyone is getting the same or can you point me to a solution.

I've tried recording "Rob Roy" off FilmF twice now and both times the exact same problem, it looks to be recorded (shows like 2:24 time) but as soon as I start play, it jumps to the end and says playback over. This happened with last nights attempt (Sat) and again with the one I shceduled at 4am. I'm set to try again at 10am today.

What's strange is when it was recording last night, I checked in a couple of times and it seemed to be playing ok but when I tried to start at the beginning, it would start at some place into the movie and then quickly jump to live. If I tried to back up it would do the same thing.

This is something new because I recorded "Breakheart Pass" off FilmF recently and it plays fine. I wonder if this has anything to do with the MPEG4 switchover?

well, I have missed lots of recording on this channel. They had a few film that I wanted to watch and now this happens. Hopefully is reading this thread and can fix this very soon.

I am closing this thread only to keep this topic confined to the other thread.

I discovered this crap myself this morning.

No DVR functions work on channels 9480 or 9486.

See the thread above for continued conversation on the topic.

Thanks!
