FEC - parameter not added in Installation

Hi , guys there are many satellite receivers in the Installation section there is no Field for FEC , only Frequency , S/R and Polarity and when you do auto search the receivers will program all the transponders wirth FEC = 3/4 but when comes to transponders with FEC = 1/2 , 2/3 .5/6 and 7/8 the receiver wil not program them , Trying to program the manuall there is no fiield for FEC . therefore how to overcome this problem ?
Any thouight you would have be greatly appreciated .

I know it is automatic , but why when I program the other receiver which have FEC field in the installation section during auto search it search for all trandponders what ever their FECs .
