I just got a Sirius One receiver and the thing has a tough time cutting through to get a static free signal (here in NJ, there aren't many free frequencies, the New York, Philly, and NJ stations are located at just about every FM frequency....)
Meanwhile, my 2 year old SkyFi2 has zero problems. That may be a thing of the past though unless I want another wire running to my whip antenna or pasted on my windshield antenna....
