I told the family I had to work today. Dad doesn't have to pay! Hmmmm. the day's not over yet.
BTW- I don't need a special day. I am proud of my daughter every day. What I enjoy most is teaching her to be independent and self sufficient. In a kind of balance, my wife likes to give her stuff. So, I get to help when she needs help and when she needs a new dress, well, guess who gets invited to go shopping? I guess that's the joy of being a parent. Now when the grandchildren come along, we spoil the grand child.
