Ultra HD is one of the VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels nationwide and currently available on DISH Network.

Each week, the Ultra series features Kidd joined by a fashion expert to stroll the most fashionable shopping streets of the world. The two set out to accomplish a shopping mission based on a set budget. Viewers are brought along as they visit shops and boutiques that set the fashion trends, the hot restaurants where chefs are redesigning culinary creativity, the hotels that are redefining great interior design and the nightclubs that give the fashion-forward a place to party. It is a fun, chic tour of a given avenue where Kidd spends the day exploring while letting viewers be part of total experience.

"Fashion Avenue not only reinforces our commitment to showcasing amazing and entertaining programming from all over the world, but it also contributes to our growing library of quality high definition lifestyle programming," said Liz Dewey, Vice President of Programming for Ultra HD. "Fashion Avenue takes you to the stores, restaurants, hotels and nightclubs that make each address, so globally fashionable."

Last August, VOOM HD announced its distribution agreement with Echostar Communications to carry ten of the HD channels on its Dish Network, and soon to come in '06 are more of these special niche offerings. Since the launch, VOOM HD has gone on to produce groundbreaking original HD content for a wide variety of consumer interests ranging from a one-of-a-kind live memorabilia auction on Gallery HD to solidifying an acquisition agreement with Warner Brothers to amass the largest collection of horror films for Monsters HD. Most recently, VOOM HD solidified a co-production deal with Singapore to create mostly nonfiction niche programming. This new announcement for Ultra HD confirms VOOM's commitment to growing and to investing in the brand's aggressive move into the marketplace.
