St. Louis
Trying to watch the St.. Louis Blues game on my RSN was unbearable tonight.

Constant freezes and spinning, error messages, rewinding for no reason multiple times over the same loop, jumping out of commercials, repeating partial commercials, and the last 5 minutes or so were pretty much non-existent.

Thought it might be my equipment but put network cables on instead of wifi, tried it on my streaming box, Roku stick, Roku TV, Samsung TV with dtv app, phone, all with the same result. Even checked with a buddy across town who was experiencing similar issues.

Anyone else have these issues or know what may be going on??

I have 1 fig fiber internet service FYI.

Assuming you are a steam customer based on the post. If it was an issue in the DirecTV app you could try downloading the FanDuel Sports app and login with your DirecTV Stream login to see if it works coming from their server. If your experience is the same it is likely the feed and no further suggestions except wait until they fix it. If your other apps work, it's probably on their end.

I don't think this has anything to do with the name change as their broadcasting feeds and streaming servers had no change, it was just a name change and stuff like on-air graphics.

Comcast, Spectrum and Uverse had a outage with it also-

They did have some feed issues with the changes. For much of the day no logo was visible and many of the regions were just showing national base feed programming instead of what was originally scheduled.

FSN/Bally/FanDuel has always been complicated as all of the feeds are created on the fly by remotely switching the headend's receivers between base feeds and shared alternates with some hyper local feeds being consolidated after teams were jettisoned. i.e. The New Orleans subregion was fully folded into Southwest that as of now only has the Dallas Wings and some Texas high school football region wide, while the Spurs have to be blacked out in the core of the Mavs, Rockets, Thunder and Pelicans territory.

Midwest is really complicated too because they have the Kansas City and Indiana subregions and then further out some of the hyperlocal feeds get the Tigers and Pistons from Detroit, Grizzlies from Southeast, Timberwolves from North, Thunder from Oklahoma/Southwest or Reds from Ohio.

People streaming via the DTV app get the same hyperlocalized feeds for their zip code that cable providers have, they don't get the feed that you see when watching on a satellite receiver.

I stand corrected, shows just how poor their operations are that a name change and on-air graphics change would disrupt their transmissions, when there is no change to carriage agreements or how they deliver their content. Diamond Sports need to go away sooner than later, but somehow they keep drawing at straws in bankruptcy court.

What are the chances Directv will change their mind and want my rec. back
