Purchased system from GoSatellite/FTA direct they direct me to you Guys

Not receiving any channels on any satellites, only receiving "FAIL" on all channel searches.
package:
Dish 30” fortec star,
Coolsat Ku-Lnbf rf11.70/12.20ghz; IF:950/1450MHZ lo:10.75GHZ
rotor sat hh90, stab-usals and diseqc1.23 compatible viewsat2000.
Site installation is in Santa Monica, CA USA Lat 34N, Long 118.5W,
Dish elevation 39.5 clear sky no obstructions, plumbed rotor head, motor is responding
-have experience in installing Dish networks systems successfully
Installed dish and receiving 70-75 signals receiver processed the searches then received Fail and no channels

Downloaded current software from viewsat and installed into receiver
Newer software allowed for USAL Set up
Input my site lat./longitude etc.
Still receiving signal of 70—75
Tried USALS and manual searches always receive fail, still no TV channels or radio
Any suggestions? Really stumped.

I always recommend you remove the motor from the equation and find and store a few satellites (True south) before adding the motor. I know its not what want to hear but its always a good idea to walk before you run. If you feel you are close to a satellite try a blind scan, then you will know where you are in the arc.

Your true south satellite is around 119w Use a DirecTV/Dishnotwork LNB+Receiver point to 119w and you are done! Use an L.O. of 11250 if you use this LNB. Then switch back to the KU LNBF and change the L.O. back to 10750.

Not to be an ass, but I recommend you buy from someone who will actually try to help you instead of sending you to a internet fourm. Again, no offense to you, but same thing happened to me with a Twinhan card. Bought off ebay, card is bad, contacted Twinhan, no response, contacted ebay seller, said to look on internet.
