Looks like you can set it up for in-store pick up if you want.

Figures, something like this comes along, and I don't have the extra $$ with Christmas & all!!

But hopefully someone here can take advantage.

I have been using this drive for three months now and it has been flawless with my HR20-700. It does not come with a esata cable. You will need to purchase the cable.

Well, I finally did it.
I called them this morning to see if they actually had any in stock, it would be my luck and I know how people are buying up Ext. HD 's when they go on sale.

My lucky day, they did have a few in stock so I bought one.

Still in the box at the moment....
Is there anything I should know before hooking it up ?

Yes and NO
Yes, You can use it for addl. storage on the HR20's and NO you cannot transfer programming to the DVD without loosing HD format
Yes, you can transfer, but you will lose the HD portion.

Just hook up a connection from your HR20 to your DVR and do the PLAY on the HR20 and Rec. on the DVD Recorder
