Expressvu Hi Def in Florida

I know that many of the standard def channels are not available in Florida. Does anybody know if any of the Express Vu Hi Def channels are availble in florida? Thanks for any information you can share.

some of the SD stuff is not on ExpressVu due to Nimiq3 satellite. See the sticky at top about that

RIGHT NOW all HD can be seen in Fla....but EVu is thinking of doing the split satellite thing on 82 too

Be aware that Expressvu has applied for, but not yet received approval, to move a unused Directv satellite to be colocated @ 82 degrees. This is to make up the 6 transponders unusable on N2.

If a DTV satellite is moved there, it is unlikely that the services put on N4 will be viewable in the southern US or Mexico. This is due to the fact that DTV satellites have a smaller footprint than Expressvu satellites. They will be turned to cover Canada.
