Former prisoner of war Jessica Lynch will give her first television interview to ABC News' Diane Sawyer in prime time on Nov. 11, her publisher said on Monday.
The highly anticipated interview with the former U.S. Army private who was badly injured in the Iraq war will take place during a special program on Veteran's Day, the day a book about her experiences is scheduled to hit the stores, according to the publisher, Alfred A. Knopf.
The book, "I Am A Soldier, Too: The Jessica Lynch Story," was written by former New York Times reporter Rick Bragg.
Lynch is scheduled to be interviewed by Katie Couric for NBC's "Today" on Nov. 12, and will make an appearance on the CBS "Late Show" with David Letterman on Nov. 14.
