Instead of hijacking another thread asking whats good for online gaming, I've decided to ask my question here.

Has anyone looked at, checked out, and/or played Eve? See EVE Online - a massive multiplayer online roleplaying space game - MMORPG it looks really cool, though I am not sure and don't want to jump in head first.

Whats the word on Eve?

I've tried it out twice, but could just never get into it. Just seemed like a lot of mining and running here and there to me, but I didn't get too far into the game.

I think I would have liked it a lot more if you could actually get out of your ship and do other stuff.

I have to agree... When I tried the 14 day trial it was mine this fly 10 minutes to another part of space, mine that go back here travel there etc. I gave up on it after about 2 days.
