what sat is the la channels on???

I just ordered online and it wasa 34.98 per month for sd and hd.....I am willing to pay this if I can get the channels. I used an address that qualified. Hoping this works out then I am willing.
 
AAD LA package

I agree the price is high, but the only way to have HD in an RV for dish customers is this option and I added the LA HD's yesterday. It was not easy however. On my first call I was quoted the correct price and was told they would be activated shortly. After a couple of hours and no LA stations, I was told to wait another two hours as the activity was heavy and it would take some time, maybe as much as 24 hours. I called back in another 2 hours and third CSR found that the first person had signed me up for the SD package at the HD price. She canceled the transaction, and activated the LA package which came on is seconds. I asked how that happened, and she said the part numbers for the packages had changed 3 times since Friday and that was the reason for the error. It is working fine with quality that looks equal to my local HD stations to my eye.

LA has the police chases, different NFL games and all HD newscasts. And a real FOX station. Need I say more, LA's a better TV city than Sac. Aside from prime time they air different programs at different times too.

How is that a matter of opinion. It's the truth. Don't you think dish would find it weird if you moved every time you needed a tech? I'm in an apt and need my dish realigned. It's a little weird to move back to the same address every 6months. It'd throw flags.

I just meant it is a matter of opinion as to what is easier, moving back-and-forth or paying $25 a month. I would not mind moving back-and-forth. I would prefer it over paying $25 month. In fact I am "moved".

I don't think DISH really cares if you move or how often you move. As you know from these boards, an incredible number of people "move". I am sure some of them have needed a service tech and have needed to move back. I don't recall any posts of people getting in trouble from DISH or any red flags being raised.

However if you are uncomfortable doing that, that's okay too. Neither of us is right or wrong. Like I said it's a matter of opinion as to what is easier.

Well, I wanna keep my locals for local sports/news. LA shows different NFL games during the season than Sac/SF/NY, and the police chases. I just want Chicago for the HD east and more regional games. Too bad it's not NY/LA in HD.
 
If you have receivers on an account with a west coast address for the LA HD can you add the same receivers to a new account with an east coast address to get the Chicago HD, or will ADD not add the receivers to the east coast address since they're already registered to the west coast address?

34.98 does not sound right, I was quoted 12.99 and 24.99 for 8 SD and 4 LA HD.
